Nigeria’s British Boxer Anthony Joshua is set to defend His WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles against Alexander Povetkin in Wembley Stadium.
Anthony Joshua is expected to have a fight to defend his titles with Russia’s Alexander Povetkin on September 22 as disclosed by His promoter Eddie Hearn on Monday 16th of July.
The fight goes down in september at Webley stadium, london against Povetkin who was mandated as Joshua’s next fight before he could be free to choose who he wants to Battle next. Joshua who has always wished to have a match with unbeaten champion and Boxing Council belt holder Deontay Wilder now has this one fight to win so at to fulfil His match dreams with Wilder.
“I can’t wait to get back in the ring, the end of March feels a long time ago now,” said Joshua.
“Povetkin is a serious challenge that I will prepare meticulously for. He has serious pedigree and only a fool would underestimate what he brings to the table.
