Mother of England and Tottenham Hotspur Midfielder Dele Alli has confirmed recently how she’d Love to watch her son play but couldn’t afford the money to watch Him live in Russia at the ongoing FIFA 2018 World Cup.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Denise said she was immensely proud of her son but devastated that she cannot cheer him on from the stands as the England star is on the verge of reaching the World Cup final.
Denise admitted that she was brought to tears when she saw a photo of Dele posing happily with his foster parents after the 2-0 victory over Sweden in the Samara stadium.
“Seeing that photograph was upsetting. I know he considers them his family, but I am still his mum. It does hurt to see photos like that.
“Of course, I would love to be in Russia with him. I sent him a message before he went to the World Cup and when he scored the goal, but I have not heard anything back.
He does not contact me anymore, which makes me so sad; and he only answers messages from my daughter.”
Denise revealed that she doesn’t want anything from him. “I just want a hug from my son who has made his mum so proud that he is playing for England and scoring in a World Cup.”
Denise had watched the match alone at her council home in Milton Keynes, with a single photograph of her son on a window ledge — the only visible sign that he was once part of her life.
She will do the same on Wednesday night when her son will try to win England a place in the World Cup final.
“I was sat on my own in the lounge watching the game and when Dele scored, it was amazing and I was screaming at the telly, ‘Well done Dele, well done.
“I’d love to have been there to see it live, but I couldn’t afford to go to Russia: It would be a dream to see my son play in the World Cup.” – She lamented.
We hope to see Denise and Her son Dele Alli Re-Unite as Unity and making peace reign again has been the latest trend in the world today; this is what We all hope for – UNITY and PEACE
