The meeting between Eritrea’s President Isaias Afewerki and Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed happens to be its first since almost 20 years of war.

After the Border War which left over 70, 000 people dead,  a peace deal was presented to Ethiopia but was rejected leaving Eritrea to claim the area which both countries fought over.

In the world today where Peace has been the trending sermon,  Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has taken a bold step to bring this new change which was seen as unimaginable.
